The Compassionate Love of Saint Veronica

One of the few who showed compassion to our suffering Savior as He carried His Cross to Calvary was St. Veronica.  Acting contrary to public opinion and human respect, this valiant woman pushed through the angry, jeering mob to wipe the disfigured Face of Christ.  St. Veronica is an inspiring example for us at moments or stations of our life when it’s difficult to hold to principle and stand out in the crowd.  In this audio meditation, taken from our book, Meditations and Reflections, published by the Daughters of Mary, contemplate how to imitate St. Veronica in pushing aside any obstacle that keeps us from drawing close to Christ.
