A Call to Generosity

In the words of St. Francis de Sales, discouragement "is a bad sadness, and it is not from God."  Mother Mary Bosco points out in this conference that the devil uses the tool of discouragement to paralyze the soul in its efforts in the spiritual life.  Using the teachings of St. Francis de Sales, Mother gives practical remedies to expel discouragement.  She invites us to be more generous with God, urging us to rise to difficult occasions and be valiant soldiers of Christ.
