What is the purpose of the Sacrament of Penance?  How can I make my Confessions more productive? Why am I not improving in the spiritual life?  These are some of the questions Bishop Carroll discusses in this conference.  He explains the three major actions to be taken on the part of the penitent in making a good Confession.  Also, the bishop reminds us of Our Lord’s special love for sinners and His desire to draw them to Himself.
