Retreat is a time to reflect upon the four last things - death, judgment, Heaven and Hell.  In this conference on death, Mother Mary Bosco describes three occasions on which Our Lord raised someone from the dead.  She brings before us the compassionate and loving Heart of Christ towards the dying, and His tenderness towards the family and friends that are left to grieve.  With Saints Martha and Mary Magdalene, we learn that a close friendship with Christ during life is the best preparation for a peaceful death.
