We read in Sacred Scripture, “It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins” (II Mach. 12:46). With its prayers and reflections, this Holy Souls Book will assist in cultivating a special devotion to the Holy Souls in Purgatory, a devotion which is most pleasing to God.
