Meditations for Lent Download

“He who desires,” says St. Bonaventure, “to go on advancing from virtue to virtue, from grace to grace, should meditate continually on the Passion of Jesus.” He adds that “there is no practice more profitable for the entire sanctification of the soul than the frequent meditation of the sufferings of Jesus Christ."

This collection provides meditations on four of the most moving incidents in Christ’s Passion:

• St. Simon of Cyrene and Carrying the Cross
• The Compassionate Love of St. Veronica

We pray that these audio meditations, taken from our Meditations and Reflections and read by our Sisters, will give you a greater understanding of the immense love of Our Savior, and inspire you with hatred for sin and a desire to return love and gratitude to His Sacred Heart.
